1. Keep her watered. Warning: She will resist. The easiest solution is to give her plenty of tea.
2. Feed her lots of fruits and vegetables every day. Satsumas are a particular favorite. Do not be alarmed when they disappear within the hour.
3. Make sure there is plenty of vegetation and foliage within easy reach. These are a necessary component of her ecosystem.
4. Let her dance.
5. Give her time to do nothing in. It is during these periods that she is the most productive.
6. Keep a variety of art supplies readily at hand. You never can predict when the urge will strike.
7. Encourage friends and family to send post. It keeps her happy.
8. Make sure she doesn't overdose on the peanut butter.
9. Ensure easy access to a tree. This is vital.
10. Keep tea on hand. Earl Grey or Green are preferred.
11. While you're at it, keeping a Brett nearby is a decent plan as well. They've been known to have a calming effect.
12. Writing supplies are a must. Be prepared for some form of internal combustion if you intend to deprive her of them for longer than a day.
13. Don't worry about the squid. They happen.
